TT" Version - Designed for Commercial Trucks that Exchange Trailers
SenseStat™ is a unique obstacle detection system developed by Mobile Awareness™, a leader in commercial transportation safety. SenseStat™ provides back-up assistance for commercial vehicles such as utility trucks, box trucks and even trucks pulling trailers. This back-up alert/reverse-sensing system uses the latest ultrasound technology to detect objects that are up to eight (8) feet from the rear of the vehicle. The system uses a unique sensor-scanning algorithm that reads each of four (4) separate sensors, displaying the distance to the one that is closest to an object. This offers the ability to monitor four (4) zones simultaneously across the width of the vehicle. The result is a greater degree of “blind spot” coverage.

This “Wired” SenseStat™ Obstacle Detection Sensor System is available in two (2) wired models making installation easy, as well as economical to maintain on all types of commercial vehicles. The MA-ODSS-4M17TT (denoted as TT for Trucks with Trailers) is designed for vehicles where the backing light power connection is found on rear of the Truck that pulls a Trailer. The MA-ODSS-4M17BT (denoted as BT for Box Trucks) is designed for vehicles where the backing light power connection is located at the rear of the vehicle, such as Box Trucks, Utility Vehicles, Buses & Delivery Vans. Both systems are provided for commercial vehicles where "wireless" may be inconvenient to install. The Box Truck version (BT) is found here and the wireless (MA-ODSS-4M17W) version is found here.
Single Waterproof Cable Installation
The waterproof sensors and ECU (Electronic Control Unit) mount easily on the rear of the truck or trailer. The dash mounted Warning Display Unit (WDU) connects to the ECU via a single waterproof cable that installs under the vehicle. There is only one 2-wire connection required to complete the installation.
